Iconic statements are statements including depth and complexity in lessons using the next level of content imperatives. Content imperatives are suggested to be introduced in grades 3-12th but can be implemented in the lower grades.
Choose a topic and follow the example under the Strand III (Differentiation).
An example is provided below:

We have use fossil energy for so long. The energy is produce mainly by natural gas. Now the cost of producing this type of energy is increasing every year. However, this is faster than energy produced by solar panels.
The solar energy is a clean energy. It does not produce hazard materilas that could affect no just humans but also all living organisms.Both are useful at this time. However, the solar energy will be the only source of energy for our planet.
